Singles who are at least 35 years old will soon be able to apply for new two-room Housing Board flats in any location. PM Lee Hsien Loong announced this at his National Day Rally on Sunday. Currently, they can only apply for Build-to-Order (BTO) flats in non-mature estates. Petrina Yuen, a postgraduate student, tells us how the new rules will affect her and her fellow young singles.
