The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) said on Friday that it will open registration for flats in its 48-storey under-construction residential project, ‘DDA Towering Heights’, at its East Delhi Hub in Karkardooma between October 31 and November 21.
This will be the tallest building in the Capital so far, with 48 storeys standing at 155 m, it added.
The housing scheme, part of Delhi’s first Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) project, has been approved by the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).
Spread over 30 hectares, the East Delhi Hub project is being developed as a mixed-use urban centre integrating residential, commercial, and civic spaces within a walkable environment.
Under Phase I, DDA will offer 1,026 premium two-bedroom flats through an online registration and e-auction process. The base price of the flats ranges from Rs 1.78 crore to Rs 3.09 crore, with sizes varying between 142 and 250 sq m. Facilities will include a 20,000 sq m central green area, jogging track, open-air gym, cricket field, badminton courts, and landscaped open spaces, according to a DDA spokesperson.
Brochures for purchasing flats will be available from October 25 on the DDA website. As per DDA, registration and earnest money deposit submissions will be open from October 31 to November 21, with a final submission deadline of November 24. E-auctions will be conducted from December 1 to 4. DDA said that successful bidders will have to deposit 75% of the cost at the time of auction, with the remaining due by July 2026, when possession is expected.
The project’s foundation stone was laid by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in December 2019. It faced delays due to pending forest clearances and water and sewerage approvals.
