LONDON (Reuters) – British inflation rose by slightly greater than anticipated in December, pushed up by transport prices reminiscent of air fares, official knowledge confirmed on Wednesday.
Client costs rose 0.6% in annual phrases after a 0.3% improve in November, the Workplace for Nationwide Statistics mentioned.
A Reuters ballot of economists had pointed to a fee of 0.5%.
