Share Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: Domestic equity market benchmarks BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading with deep cuts on Monday taking cues from their global peers. The 30-share Sensex was trading at 32,286.95, down 1,430.67 points or 4.24 per cent, while the broader Nifty 50 index was ruling 414.40 points or 4.20 per cent at 9,445.50. Except for Sun Pharma, all the 29 stocks out of 30 Sensex stocks were trading in red. Bajaj Finance was the top Sensex loser, down 8 per cent, followed by Tata Steel, ICICI Bank and IndusInd Bank. All the 11 Nifty sectoral indices were trading deep in red with Nifty Metal as the top sectoral laggard, down over 6.6.5 per cent. Similarly, Nifty Private Bank index was down 6.23 per cent in Monday’s trade.
Reliance Industries (RIL) and Jio Platforms announced that Silver Lake will invest Rs 5,655.75 crore into Jio Platforms. This investment values Jio Platforms at an equity value of Rs 4.90 lakh crore and an enterprise value of Rs 5.15 lakh crore and represents a 12.5% premium to the equity valuation of the Facebook investment announced on April 22, 2020, company said in a BSE filing.
