Rupee opens higher against US dollar | Check latest

The rupee gained 3 paise larger to 77.52 towards the US greenback on Thursday.

The rupee opened larger towards the US greenback in early commerce on Thursday. Nevertheless, the preliminary acquire was restricted as a consequence of a stronger greenback in abroad markets.

The rupee gained 3 paise larger to 77.52 towards the American forex on Thursday on the interbank foreign exchange market.

Meanwhile, share markets opened in green in early morning trade on Thursday. The Sensex gained 0.35 per cent or 190.36 factors to 53,939.62, and the Nifty 50 was 0.21 per cent or 33.90 factors to 16,059.70.

On Wednesday, the rupee recovered 2 paise to settle at 77.55 towards the US forex in a restricted commerce.

The US greenback snapped its two days of losses forward of the discharge of the minutes of the US Fed’s assembly this month. The US greenback index gained 0.4 per cent to 102.25 towards a basket of six international currencies.

On the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee opened larger at 77.54 towards the buck and moved in a spread of 77.44 to 77.57 within the day commerce. The rupee lastly ended at 77.55, larger by 2 paise over its earlier shut of 77.57 towards the American forex.
