LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska officers say they’re experiencing delays with some tax returns on account of an unusually excessive variety of errors, significantly with returns that declare the state’s new property tax credit score.
The Nebraska Division of Income announced on its website final week that many of the issues are from easy entry or calculation errors. The division stated staff are working additional time to assessment and proper the errors internally, and taxpayers will not must take any additional steps.
Officers stated refunds can be issued with due care as rapidly as potential.
