A U.S. Home committee authorized a invoice Wednesday that might outlaw the distribution of faux or deceptive supplies resembling census varieties or different supplies that would stop folks from taking part within the nation’s head rely.

The Democratic-controlled Home Committee on Oversight and Reform despatched the measure to the Home ground with the intention of stopping the unfold of misinformation associated to the once-a-decade census. Violators could be obtain civil penalties.
