WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Denver Worldwide Airport Chief Govt Phil Washington is a “main contender” to be nominated to go the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), a White Home official advised Reuters on Thursday.
The job has been vacant since March 31 when Steve Dickson stepped down about midway by means of his five-year time period.
The Seattle Instances reported earlier Thursday that the White Home is ready inside days to announce Washington as President Joe Biden’s nominee. A spokeperson for Washington referred inquiries to the White Home, which declined to remark.
