NEWNow you can hearken to Fox Information articles!
Rep. Claudia Tenney mentioned Democratic lawmakers apparently need Supreme Courtroom justices “to be intimidated” over reversing Roe v. Wade Saturday on “Fox Report.”
CLAUDIA TENNEY: My concern is that [Democrats] say, “Oh, yeah, properly, we needed extra within the bill [protecting Supreme Court justices]. That is why we did not vote for it. Add an modification or present one other invoice that would supply extra staffing.” However I believe the actual cause they did not vote for it’s they know that their constituents are afraid of what is going on to occur if this Dobbs case — the abortion case — comes out. And so they know politically their constituents are in opposition to it, they usually’re in opposition to the change within the legislation that might occur.
And they also do not help really defending these justices as a result of they, the truth is, need these judges to be intimidated, it seems. And the reality is, you hear a few of these different claims like Sen. Chris Coons saying, “Effectively, that is judicial activism.” Actually, the Roe v. Wade case is judicial activism. What we’re doing goes again to the Structure. And the reality is, abortion won’t be unlawful when the Dobbs case is launched.
