AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Progressive Jessica Cisneros is requesting a recount in her tight runoff election towards nine-term Democratic U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar that remained too near name almost two weeks later.
Cuellar was main Cisneros by 187 votes, or 0.4 share factors, out of 45,429 ballots counted as of Monday evening, based on an Related Press depend. The AP won’t declare a winner till the recount is accomplished.
