(Reuters) – Belarus Overseas Minister Vladimir Makei has died on the age of 64, state information company Belta reported on Saturday.
“Overseas Minister Vladimir Makei has handed away out of the blue,” Belta reported.
Makei had held his put up since 2012.
He had attended a convention of the Collective Safety Treaty Group (CSTO) – a army alliance of a number of put up soviet states – in Yerevan earlier this week and was as a result of meet Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on Monday.
